A Tail to Tell, Inc.......

Freeing the dogs from the horrors of the puppy mills.

Giving them a chance to tell their stories.
DARBY
Our beautiful baby boy, Darby, has found his
forever family.  Randi, Amir and the kids
have fallen head over heals in love.  This
wonderful family has so much love to give,
they decided to take in Darby's sister,
Emma, too. What a wonderful family to have
these precious babies.  And they are just
babies....only 4 months old.  I'd say the new
parents will need a lot of patience with 2
new puppies in the house.   We look forward
to hearing more about the progress of these
sweeties and of course, to seeing more
pictures!!  Thank you both very much for
loving these two guys!
Harvey and Bean
Harvey and Bean were considered "lucky" to be saved from a mill while they were still puppies.  Bean was
only 8 wks old and Harvey about 10 wks.  Although they came from different mothers, they came from the
same horrible puppy mill.  Our new foster mom Katheryn decided she would take on 2 babies at
once...Whew....How brave.  Of course they were only foster dogs, right Katheryn? Well, who wouldn't love
these 2 little guys.  The boys bonded with each other immediately  and both bonded with Katheryn and
her family.  So, we're happy to report that the boys are staying right where they belong with Katheryn and
Armand and their 5 fursiblings and 2 skinsiblings. Thank you so much for caring for these precious
babies!  Stay tuned for updated pictures as the boys keep growing.
Here is one of their new fursiblings.
This is Bean and his real sister Lilly..What a pair..

Petey
We are extremely pleased to announce
that Petey's foster parents Toni and
Jeffery, have decided they cannot live
separating him from his best friend Flora.

What a love bug!  Petey came to us from a
puppy mill in western New York.  He was
rescued by some very nice ladies.

Petey has decided that he just can't live
without the love of his life, Flora, a westie
who also came from a puppy mill.  The
two were instantly joined at the hip.  This
loving young man, will wait at the top of
the steps for slow-poke Flora to come in
the house before he can rest.  Whatever
did he do before Flora came into his life?

We are so happy that they took this cutie
into their family.  He couldn't be in a better
home.

Oh, and we are also happy to say that
Petey was our first dog to ever be in a
fashion show.  He made his debut on the
big runway this past Spring...and the
ladies went wild.

Cutty and Alex
I think it was love at first bite...
Cutty will be a much loved boy with his new family. Michele, Steve and Alex have been
looking for the right dog to complete their family. They met Cutty several weeks ago and
decided that he was the perfect dog for their lifestyle. I found it ironic that their last dog
(Tequila) was named after alcohol and once again their new dog was given the name of a
smooth, comfortable libation. One can only imagine the explaining Michele must have
done when Alex would go to school and say things like: "Last night my mom was sick so
she went to bed early and she took Tequila with her."
I can only imagine the fun things this family has encountered with a dog named Tequila.
Now the fun will continue as they bring Cutty Sark into their lives.
We were very happy to find this wonderful family. We wanted Cutty to go to a home with
children and to a home with great respect and love. I think we have found the "perfect"
family for our little boy.
They live only 30 minutes from us so I am sure we will be bumping into them from time to
time. Michele has promised updates and pictures. We will miss our little man but we feel
confident that he will be loved and cherished by a warm and loving family.
Alex - don't forget, he gets a treat every night at bedtime.
