I was looking for a walking buddy in the summer of 2016 since that is pretty much my only form of physical exercise and, at 14 years of age, my sweet Tinkie is slowing down. So I went online and checked out a few rescue websites to look for a small senior who was looking for a loving home. I found Molly through Petfinder and saw that she was with A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill Rescue. I contacted A Tail To Tell and got a response quickly. And soon after, I had a meet and greet. I took home sweet ol’ Molly on July 26th.
Molly has fit in with her canine sister and four feline siblings. I guess living in a foster home prepared her for noise and chaos! She is sociable with all the neighborhood dogs — the bigger the better apparently since she seems to have a particular affinity for an 80 pound Dalmatian named Cinder.
She is a real clown and seems to find joy in the smallest activity like chasing a small ball or picking up a dried leaf from the street in her mouth. What a success story for both of us! Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who saved for me.
