Hi Everyone, My name is Yetti Hanna. I found my forever family on May 29, 2015 and they are wonderful, but I didn’t always have a nice life.
I was locked in a cage for the first 7 years of my life. I was exposed to every element nature had to offer; snow, rain, heat, freezing temperatures and baking sun. During that time I was bred so many times that it destroyed my insides and I have bladder problems now. I also had open wounds on all of the pads of my paws due to being on nothing but wire my entire life. My pads were cut and bleeding and yet the puppy mill owners did nothing for me. My teeth were not taken care of and during that time my jaw was broken. I don’t want to talk about how it was broken, but once again the Amish puppy mill owner did nothing to help me.
But, I am a survivor and even though I weighed less than 6 pounds I am a spunky girl who would not give up. I learned to eat with the broken jaw and minimal teeth. Then one day a nice person from A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill Rescue came and took me away from all of that heartache and pain.
I was nursed back to health, given my shots, had my tummy fixed and some dental work done. By this time my jaw and healed, but left me with a crooked smile and an area in my jaw where I have no bone. But that didn’t stop me from capturing the hearts of everyone who would meet me. I loved my foster Mom Cindy, and everyone else who cared for me.
One day my forever family noticed my picture on A Tail to Tells website. There I was sitting with my crooked little smile and my new Mommy says that the moment she saw me she just knew she had to meet me. That’s all it took, one visit to their home and I captured their hearts too.
My story has a happy ending, but not all puppy mill dogs are as lucky as I am. Please share my story and put an end to puppy mills.
Lovin’ My New Life,
