After our dog passed away in 2018, we were finally willing to open our hearts and home to a new little doggie. Johnny came to us on April 24, 2022 after several months with a sweet foster mama. They told us that he was a senior dog at almost 8 years old, but you would never know it. He is as spunky as a little puppy!
At first he was probably a little anxious with a new home and new people. However, we quickly learned that he loves to play with his “zippy paws.” Although he has no teeth, he manages to hold onto the toy quite well and loves to try to tempt us to take it from him!
We can tell that he feels safe and loved in our home because he regularly snuggles up with us and finally lets us sleep in a little bit! And of course everyone falls in love with his adorable tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth. We are so blessed to have him in our family!
