Meet Rosanne Rosannadanna!
I am going to need a home with a human who will keep things pretty much the same. I can’t see but my other senses will teach me the lay of the land. I want a home with a human who will share their vision with me. Perhaps in big ways like exclaiming loudly when you notice storm clouds or maybe in small ways when you hold me close and rub my neck as you describe the beauty of a rainbow, the magnificence of a waterfall or just a little bird eating from a feeder. I want a human who (within a few days of having me) will forget I am blind and recognize me for just me, Roseanne Rosannadanna- a girl who truly sees with her heart.
This 22 pound tan & white cocker spaniel was born May 3, 2019 in a puppy mill and was kept as a breeding dog who produced several litters. Unfortunately, she had not gotten any vet care for her very painful glaucoma in the mill and had to have both eyes removed shortly after coming into rescue.
This sweet-sweet girl also tested positive for Lyme disease and had some pretty horrible teeth.. but, all have been taken care of through A Tail to Tell.
We are very happy to say that she is ready to start looking for her forever home!
Rosanne (Rosy for short) is very inquisitive and loves exploring her foster homes’ fenced in yard. She is about 95% housetrained and LOVES human companionship above canine companionship. She is very happy to be wherever you are and snuggles up beside you while TV watching or just enjoying a peaceful night on the patio.
Rosy is best with dogs who “don’t get in her face” and won’t compete for her humans attention.
Are you the silver slipper for this princess?
