My name is Swoosh. I was born on July 16, 2012. I am a Pomeranian/Poodle who has been in a home since 2014. Sadly, for me, my family had children and now their sudden movements startle me. I have snapped twice at the little girl. Nothing serious, but the family wants to rehome me before it becomes a serious situation.
Swoosh is beautiful loving boy, rescued back in 2014. Since then, he's been a lively addition to our family. Swoosh will do almost anything for a treat, especially cheese. He is loyal and will follow us all around the house. He is house trained and current on all vaccinations. Swoosh does well following his daily routine. As with most rescues, he does have some behavioral challenges- he does not like sudden movements or being crated. He's currently on a Urinary SO diet and has exhibited some anxious behaviors.
Swoosh would benefit from a child free home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they don't invade his personal space.

It took some time for her to trust hands and laps, but she is now a loving, happy little lady and a very important part of our family. Believe it or not, she has inspired us to persevere through tough times. It may seem crazy that this fluffy little chihuahua taught us about strength and grit, but we learned that if this little dog could hang in there until she got a chance to live her best life, surely we can make it through a tough day or two.
