Donations in Memoriam:

A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.

Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:

This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:

If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the A Tail To Tell may provide benefits to both A Tail To Tell and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

The donor may list A Tail To Tell as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor’s death.

Donating Your Time

The ways in which you can personally help animals is endless. We are each given special gifts; things we really enjoy doing. It is by utilizing this gift that we help make the world a better place for animals. For example, if you like to write, offer to write a grant for the rescue. If you enjoy being outside, please come over and take the dogs outside. If you like computer or administrative work, our to do list in this department is huge. If you enjoy fixing things, we could keep you busy for weeks! So as you can see, the list really is endless.

GoFundMe is crowdfunding platform that allows A Tail To Tell to raise money for our dogs.

Every dollar you donate to the {Buzz_Rescue_Name} is making sure we can provide the necessary care for any DOG Breed in need of re-homing and a second chance at loving. We are a 501(c) (3) organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.

For every dollar donated, 93 cents go towards the cost of care for the dogs we have in foster homes nationwide. From the basics like vaccinations and medications, to specialty surgery for those like XXX, who came to us as a stray with a damaged eye that required removal. The remaining 7 cents of every dollar goes towards generating future funding needs.

{Buzz_Rescue_Name} is a nationwide community of supporters and volunteers passionate about making a difference to the lives of DOGS in need and keeping them out of harm’s way. The dogs come to us for various reasons from strays and shelters, to changes in their owner’s life that may include the death of the owner.

Whatever the reason, we take the dogs in with dignity for those surrendering them and without vindication. After all, It’s All About the Dogs.

Thank you so much for being part of it!
