Gus (AKA Maury)

In June of 2016 my wife and I said goodbye to our Best buddy Rocky.   After a few months or so we realized that our other Shiba-Inu, Lisa, was in need of a doggie friend.   My wife found the cutest little dog on A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill rescue’s website.

The pup named Maury came to us in August.  My son renamed him Gus (Cinderella’s mouse friend).  It hasn’t always been perfect but he has found his way into our family and our hearts.  Unfortunately for Gus his sister past last week and he is lonely.  I guess we will have to find him a new buddy soon.

  • Last Sunday 11/17 was my year anniversary with Mugsy – can you believe it already! I love him to death and he is such a good boy. Yes, he has his quirks, but he is so smart and such a happy dog. I have tried and I think succeeded in making up for those bad years in the puppy mill! Just wanted to let you know.
